Hostel at Kvarntorget

In October 2006 we opened a hostel at Kvarntorget 3. Today we have 37rooms with totally 119 beds.

Location

Kvarntorget is situated at 10 minutes’ walking distance from the city centre, the railway station, the bus station and Uppsala Concert & Congress Hall. The Hostel is easy to reach by car.

Facilities

	Our guests have acces to a common kitchen equipped with a fridge, a freezer, a stove and kitchen utensils.
	You can find a convenience store around the corner. If you prefer not to prepare the meals yourself, there are two resturants in the building (Restaurang Kvarntorget and Oliv'O'Mat).
	There is a tv-room with comfortable sofas and a book case filled with book and magazines that you may borrow during your stay here.
	If you have a lap top you may surf on our wireless internet for free.
	In the reception you may borrow hair-driers, irons, iron boards, adapters, decks of cards, etcetera.
	In the reception there are telephones that you may borrow at a low cost.
	Breakfast is served in the winter garden Mon-Fri 07.00-10.00 o'clock a.m., Sat-Sun 08.00-11.00 o'clock a.m. Price: 69 SEK / person, children under 12 years: 45 SEK / person.
	There is free parking in the area (next to and behind the building).
	The hostel is associated to Hostelling International.

Checking out

Check out time from the room is 11.00 o'clock a.m., but you are welcome to remain in the common areas (such as the kitchen and the tv-room) throughout the day.
